Ford has come out with their sales figures for April 2005, and the numbers, while slightly less than last month, remain strong. Ford sold 162,996 units sold compared to 178,188 last month, and were up 25% over the previous year. Fords sales number was slightly less than I anticipated. If they beat out Toyota, it will mean that Toyota’s drop was greater than I anticipated as well.

All of that being said, it is still possible that the auto sales data will be viewed as positive, and the totals should come in around 1,000,000 units.
